Evangelist Magalenn Cotton

is the youngest of four siblings. She is married to Deacon Harold Cotton. They have four adult children (Deolandzo, Harold Lamar, Amanda and Phyllis) and one grandson, Jaden and two god-daughters, Schania and Ayana.

She is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University were she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.

She has been teaching for over 20 years. Serving as the President of the Evangelism Ministry, she is an integral part of the growth of PHOJC. She also serves as the Associate Minister under Pastor Earnest Claiborn.

Evangelist Cotton got saved at the age of 14. She is an ordained Minister. She was a youth leader, and Under Shepherd for her Pastor in Mississippi, Bishop R.L. Lawson.

While a member of Greater St. Paul COGIC, she was the Purity Lady, and on the Missionary board.

Evangelist Cotton teaches and preaches about such topics as how on Christmas morning, we should be more concerned with the gifts that God gives us spiritually (love, joy, peace, power, etc.), than the presents we receive from others physically. A powerful message for all ages.
