Receiving the free gift of Salvation from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ means that you want be saved. Saved from what? From the penalty of sin and death that everyone who is not saved will suffer. Getting saved means something more important than all of these things combined. The primary reason you get saved is to know that you are now a part of God's family. And that is the first step to having access to God, other members of His family, and every one of His promises, His protection, and His provision.
